Being a city and a county councilor the Local Government Association (LGA) is
now very much a part of daily life. As a group leader on both councils I signed up
for the LGA Leadership Academy.
Four very busy and enjoyable weekends later I have studied political leadership,
council challenges, strategic partnerships and community leadership to name a
few. I am now a Professional Member with the Institute of Leadership and
Management!
It has been brilliant to meet and work with like-minded councilors in leadership
roles from across the country. We will continue to network and some of us are
meeting up at the LGA conference. Thank you so much to all the facilitators who
put this fantastic course together 🙂
