Jon Taylor
My name is Jon Taylor, my partner & I have lived in Lansdowne Road for over 14 years now. I am a Registered Nurse, I hold a Dip HE in Mental Health Nursing I gained from Worcester Uni in 2004. I have worked in the Health & Care sector for over 31 years to date.
I have made many friends down the years & would value to give them, patients, residents & their families a voice at County Hall. Currently Mental Health users are poorly serviced especially CAMHs & moreover as a County we have much to do to meet the needs of SEND pupils & their families.
As a member of the Green Liberal Democrat’s I continue to fight to protect our Environment. I believe if we all make small changes, collectively we can make a real difference. Make our gardens more wildlife friendly, we have a wildlife pond, a log pile, compost bins & have planted many small trees & shrubs in our garden.
We can eat less meat & buy from local sources with great welfare standards. Buy less clothes, or use charity shops, we walk or cycle for short local journeys & need a much better bus service around the City. Running to meet the needs of shift workers, students & OAP’s alike, I would love to see our City & the wider County move to an Electric or Green Hydrogen fleet.
Every for me, will be a vote for change.
